Viral Christmas Video

Forest Hill was looking to make video content to bring joy and help reframe the Christmas season. They wanted a low pressure invite and social media share for their members to use for Christmas Eve.
The resulting narrative was "Christmas Presents", a video that very vividly reminds you that everything in life is a gift. Having both humor and heart, Matt Nunn plays the lead role of a father unwrapping his life. Serendipitously, perhaps, a different actor was originally scheduled to play the part and cancelled the morning of the shoot. The director had to hand the camera over and use his acting chops.
Over the initial Christmas season, the video had been viewed over 20 million times in over 50 countries, with countless requests to show their businesses and organizations. Each year, the video would reemerge on social media and go for another round. In 2019, the last count across all channels was over 100 million views. The video was so successful it was written about in the Charlotte Observer— one year after it originally aired.
