Brief

Forest Hill was kicking off a long series talking about ancient figures and they wanted to find a way to make them feel like their lessons could apply today.

Solution

We decided to treat these characters like a poster that would be up in an urban environment. Rather than use photoshop to composite, time was spent recreating basic scenes in Cinema 4d, giving each poster more physical rips, tactile rips, and more accurate lighting. If you look closely at some images, you can see the remains of the previous weeks' poster, much like posters glued up in a city. Multiple scenes were created for each poster, allowing us to have a week’s worth of social content in preparation for the weekend. While each image and poster are different and have their own style, the in-space application helped bring a cohesion. The series became a favorite of those who witnessed it for years to come.

Below are some of the many images used in the series/campaign, as well as a couple shots of the cinema rig for a couple of the scenes.
