When the western cable network INSP jumped into e-commerce for the first time, the logo brief was clear—something that evoked the old time feeling of being in a small town general store. But that logo with rural, Americana charm needed to not feel out of place on the internet. The logo needed to include the logo for the parent INSP network. 

Early Round Concepts

A peak into some of the design directions that I tested before the final direction was chosen. The final option was selected by heading in the direction of the first column, then various rounds of editing and simplification. We arrived at a solution that felt more modern, but didn't feel out of place if hung above a wooden building of a country town general store.
